A little help

Include your app version, iPhone/iOS version and what happened. Use a made-up expense to show the problem when possible. Hide personal entries in screenshots; never send passwords, API keys or payment-card details.

An expense looks wrong

Open it in History to edit the amount, category, merchant or date. Review changes before saving. Deleting an expense requires confirmation.

Smart understanding is unavailable

Try a simple entry or the expense form. Local logging and saved history remain available when online access fails or reaches a limit. Smart understanding can be enabled or disabled in Settings.

Free and Plus

When enabled, Free includes 30 online interpretation attempts per UTC calendar month. Failed or cancelled attempts may count after the server reserves them. Local diary features remain free and unlimited. Plus removes the fixed monthly personal online quota and has no ads, while rate limits, abuse controls and service safeguards still apply. Availability is not guaranteed during outages or protective limits.

Plus is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The purchase screen shows Apple's localized price and renewal terms. Purchases may not yet be enabled in development builds.

Restore or cancel Plus

Use Restore purchases in Settings → Free & Spentato Plus with the Apple account used for the purchase. To cancel, open Apple subscription settings. Deleting Spentato or its data does not cancel payment. Apple's standard app license terms apply.

Delete data or ask about privacy

Settings → Delete all local data clears the diary and preferences on this device. Online identity deletion, where available, is separate and leaves the local diary intact. See the privacy policy for provider retention and how to request help.

Can you recover my diary?

We do not store a server copy and cannot restore it for you. Device backups depend on your operating system and backup settings.
